EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

It is the policy of M & D Machine that QUALITY is an integral part of any product we produce. Quality begins with the initial planning and procurement of materials and continues through all subsequent manufacturing and finishing operations. With the above philosophy in mind, M & D Machine is an AS9100 / ISO 9001:2000 certified company.

In addition to Quality, which we consider our foremost asset, DELIVERY is a prime concern of our business philosophy. We realize that you, as our Customer, know when and where you need your order. We will go out of our way to keep promised delivery dates or to reschedule deliveries to your changing needs. We team with several of our regular customers and attempt to keep a small quantity of repeat items on hand. This helps our customers to reduce the size of their inventory and to save the cost of additional set-ups to produce small quantities of items in emergency situations.

Our last commitment to our customers is COST . We realize that in today's economy the final cost of a product can determine not only if your business can be profitable, but also if it can continue to exist. Through our teaming efforts with several customers we have been able to reduce their overall product cost. By stocking parts, we lower their inventory cost. Also we continually strive to improve our processes, or suggest changes in the item, which makes it more cost effective to manufacture. We also use the latest technological software such as NX3/Unigraphics, Pro Engineering, Mastercam, and Vericut. NX3/Unigraphics, Pro Engineering helps to implement a paperless print transfer and quick revisions to products for our growing customers. By using Vericut, verification of a program is finished without even cutting material, reducing scrap thereby lowering all around cost.

We welcome your input and ideas on how we can improve in any of the above areas, or any other way that we can be more responsive to your needs.
